Layton Confessions
Thanks for 200 followers

And I like to announce that this blog is open for PLvsAA confessions (not the AA games as a whole just to clarify)

Full Confession: I prefer the prequel trilogy for a multitude of reasons like
The NPCs of the original trilogy have the personality of sock puppets
Professor Layton is just a stereotype of a British gentlemen until Unwound Future came along
At least Descole is an actual rival, Don Poalo is just a Wario knockoff and the reason for wanting to kill Layton is ridiculous (he didn’t get the girl)
The Puzzles at least in the first two are redundant (5 too many queens, 4 get the ball out, and 5 disappearing acts)
Not only is Emmy much more useful than Flora but is also one of the few female video game characters that that is a balancing act of masculinity and femininity, while Flora is the Princess Peach of the PL universe
The plots of the original trilogy goes through the same phases, go to mysterious town, town turns out to be fake/abandoned, bittersweet ending. at least in the prequels the towns are actually real
and finally I think the prequels plot wise, made more logical sense to me (something is wrong with Augustus who thinks keeping his daughter locked up in a town filled with bots is a better fate than an orphanage, no ore that I know of produces hallucinogenic gas, and Unwound Future is such a mess that I made a confession earlier)
TLDR: i’m not saying the prequel trilogy is perfect, its just that I think that the original is not immune to any legitimate criticism (especially Unwound Future) either that or i’m not looking hard enough, or the fact that i’m biased to it because I started with Eternal Diva

This is why the the mod always separates the shorten version of the confession and the full confession to be labeled full confession
(Apollo Justice FTW)

For Clarification, Flora Reinhold Appeared only on the very beginning of the movie. Notice that Luke’s clothing is different, in the begining and very end of the film he’s wearing his original trilogy sweater, while in the actual Eternal Diva part of the movie took place 3 years before the event and Luke is wearing his Last Specter clothes. I hope that answears your question
